Studies of the violin, then of the classical guitar under the direction of Pierre Martin at the Geneva Conservatory. A child gifted with jazz, he started on stage at the age of 14. He went to Paris at 17, studied philosophy. He meets Belgian guitarist René Thomas, MICKEY BAKER and Jimmy Gourley. By becoming a studio musician in particular for the English firm Pye, he played on a few albums and met GENE VINCENT in England. Decisive shock. He abandoned jazz for rock'n'roll and made friends with English musicians. He joined Jermemy Tombaugh's group in the USA and discovered the counter-culture. His second group, MACHINE GUN, founded in London with Ricky McCormick on bass and Cédric Berg on drums, has a fleeting existence but the experience is decisive.
