While One Way's Anthology has a wider range, it may be that many listeners will prefer this 14-song collection, as it focuses exclusively on tracks from Sloan's first two LPs. This means you get nothing but sub-Dylanesque folk-rock, but after all, that's what most people value most by Sloan. The tracks are universally strong, including his most famous tunes ("Eve of Destruction," "The Sins of a Family," "Take Me for What I'm Worth") and lesser-known, equally worthy ones like "Lollipop Train," "From a Distance," "Here's Where You Belong," and "I Get out of Breath."
