"The Other Side of the Rainbow" is the twelfth album by singer Melba Moore, released in 1982. This was released on Capitol Records proper. It also featured her hit "Love's Comin' At Ya". With the MONSTER HITS, "Love's Comin' At Ya," "Mind Up Tonight" and "Underlove" Melba Moore rode the first waves of synthesized funk (courtesy of Paul Laurence Jones III and Kashif) in the same fashion which Evelyn "Champagne" King did and with great results. There are some nice, tight and funky joints here coupled with some really pretty ballads and her vocal range to boot. The most beautiful song is "Don't Go Away," not to be confused with a song of the same title from her 1986 album, "A Lot of Love." They're two completely different songs. What you've got here is a nice early-80's platter of the most contagious Funk typical of that era in Old School R&BTracks:01. Love's Comin' At Ya - 05:45 02. Underlove - 05:19 03.
