A great lover of Toru Takemitsu, Astor Piazzolla and Arnold Schoenberg, he describes his compositions as modern romantic. His most recent project of 2019 consists of two ballets for string quartet and jazz quintet-the recording 'MiM" (pronounced "mime"). The recording features his good friend, Zach Lapidus, on piano.
