Pianist Frank Huang is an Assistant Professor of Piano at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. The New York Concert Review described him as a "thoughtful and accomplished performer," and thought his playing was "impressive for its maturity and refinement." He has gained international recognition for his artistry and technical command. Huang is particularly interested in promoting works that are less frequently performed as well as music of our own time. For this release, however, he reaches into the mind of a master, Johannes Brahms. He performs here four works by Brahms, never faltering in his technical ability or sensitivity to musicality. Particularly notable is his interpretation of Brahms' Sixteen Waltzes, Op. 39.
