A beautiful surprise coming from Austria, formed in the second half of the 60s in the capital Vienna by musician, composer and singer Jack Grunsky. The Jack's Angels group had a brief period of activity, releasing 5 LPs and several CDs between 1966 and 68, and undoing soon afterwards. Grunsky set out on a successful career with several records released the following decade, until moving to Canada in 74.
Here is the third and best known work of the quartet, Our Fantasy's Kingdom, 1967. Composed of 12 short tracks, it mixes folk with slight doses of psychedelic rock, remembering several bands, mainly English, of the time. Instrumental simple, acoustic, but very competent mark the sound, with guitars, banjo, harmonic and percussion, accompanying the wonderful and harmonious female and male vocal, with all the letters in English.
Beautiful folk piece that represents well the style in the late 60's, highly recommended for fans of the style.
